John has a vision that flawlessly takes designs from concept to completion, creating unique experiences tailored to individualized styles. His innate ability to genuinely connect with each client and creative partner he works with is truly remarkable. Needless to say, our clients are constantly raving that hiring John Gandy was the best decision they made for their special day.
Troy Rentz is our Chief Operations Officer, working with John Gandy for 14 years. With a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management, Troy specializes in coordinating the logistical details of corporate events and destination weddings. Troy’s candid personality allows him to serve not only as a dependable mentor and creative partner, providing constructive and honest feedback, but also as comedic relief throughout our office. His distinct eye for upcoming trends and styles is beyond impressive.
Emily Schrowang is our talented Senior Event Manager and Creative Producer. Her detail-oriented design expertise empowers her to effectively oversee the execution of events throughout all stages of the process. With an (adorable) 2-year old daughter and a degree in Psychology, Emily’s interpersonal skills provide an undeniably uplifting presence. Her kind and positive demeanor, even in the most fast-paced and high-pressure environments, is simply contagious.
Allyson DuBose is one of our exceptional Event Managers. A Tallahassee-native but Thomasville-resident, Allyson’s passion for wedding design sparked during the planning of her own wedding last year. Since then, she has poured her heart and soul into her work, continuously researching innovative ways to make her client’s day even more special. With experience as a pharmacy technician, her organizational skills are highly evident and her ability to quickly adapt and problem-solve is invaluable.
Andie Kramer is one of our ambitious Event Managers, also serving as the Intern Liaison and Online Engagement Co-Coordinator. A recent alumna of FSU, Andie has a degree in Health and Human Sciences, with minors in Hospitality Management and Psychology, and is completing a certificate in Special Events. With an energetic and driven personality, she is able to proactively anticipate and respond to the needs of her clients to maintain a smooth flow of events in a punctual manner.
Madeleine Guerra is our newest high-spirited Event Manager and Online Engagement Co-Coordinator. She is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Communications with minors in Law and Philosophy at Florida State University. Her fresh perspective, positive mindset, and motivation to explore the depths of creativity makes Mady a vitally important asset to our team.
Janice Powell is our lovely Senior Bridal Party Coordinator. Janice has worked with John for 12 years. With a surplus of experience in wedding party management and an immeasurable amount of love for helping others, she strives to make wedding days as seamless and stress-free as possible.
Justin Spitze is our reliable Warehouse Manager, ensuring all of our clients’ beautiful design elements arrive promptly and in pristine condition. Additionally, he manages the infamous Gandyland Warehouse, overseeing inventory control, furniture construction, and product organization. A recent graduate from Florida State University with a degree in Criminology and a minor in Sociology, Justin thrives in the excitement of luxury events.
