Why should I hire a wedding planner?
For so many reasons. Not the least of which is to make sure your money is well spent. A professional guarantees you will be surrounded by proven creative partners on your big day. They have the knowledge, the skills and the relationships with other professionals that serve as a sort of insurance that your day will go as well as it possibly can. But most importantly it serves as a guarantee that you and yours will enjoy your big day and that it will last in your memory for all of your days as one of your best ever. Granted, occasionally things happen at weddings we wish wouldn't and we have no control over; a last minute storm or a flower girl too shy to pass out petals. But those things that can be controlled so that brides and grooms and their families can relax and truly bask in the day they will forever remember should be. And who better to make sure everything is as it should be than an experienced, chosen professional?
My MOH and I both love the furniture we see in your warehouse catalog but her aunt is planning her wedding and I am using another event planner in town, can we still rent from you?
Absolutely! We furnished our 13,000 square foot warehouse with items to make every wedding wonderful! From Versailles-size mirrors to elegant lounges, we have it all. We want EVERYONE to have their own unique wedding day.

Do we have to use your
recommened creative partners exclusively?
If your Aunt Susie bakes the best carrot cake in the South, by all means, let her. But also understand that our reputation is tied to our creative partners whom we know to be not only exceptional professionals, but trustworthy as well. We only recommend those professional creative partners that carry appropriate licensure and insurance and have been personally vetted by us. We know that each and every one is proven and excels at what they do. They each have a track record of work that is consistent, reliable and stellar in their industry.
My fingers are crossed that my boyfriend will propose soon. After he does should I pick the date first or hire you first?
Truth be told, most people choose the date or the venue first but, in John Gandy heaven they would hire me first. Not because I am the most important element in their wedding, mind you, but because of my wealth of experience and knowledge. I have done so many weddings with so many vendors that often I can offer advice that might help with even those initial choices.
You just did the wedding of my best friend and it was the most gorgeous wedding I have ever seen but I am getting married next year and I just don't have the budget she did. Can you help me, too?
John Gandy Events provides many services to brides. In addition to our full line of planning services we offer specialized services, as well. If you already have a coordinator we offer full design services. We will layout the look you love, design it to your specifications from the massive inventory of loveliness in our warehouse and then do a full breakdown afterward so you don't have one! Finally, if your design eye is a good one, you may rent what catches it from our online catalog of gorgeous goodies.
RENTALS
Prices and Inventory availability subject to change. Final quote will include a delivery/install fee. 50% non-refundable deposit required to secure items for date/times quoted. All John Gandy Rentals must be delivered and picked up by John Gandy events staff only. Final count and payment in full are due no later than 14 days prior to the event date. There are no warranties of merchant ability or fitness, either implied or expressed. There is no warranty that the rental items are free of any and all defects. Some minor defects may be on some items that are not readily apparent. These defects do not constitute a breach on the part of John Gandy Events. The Lessee agrees to pay for any damage to, loss of, or any theft (disappearance) made to the rental items, regardless of cause or fault. Items damaged beyond repair will be paid for at its full replacement cost. (full replacement cost is ten times the rental amount). The Lessee authorize the credit card provided by the Lessee to be used for any replacement cost charges. Replacement cost will be charged to the Lessee's credit card on file.
